Over time working in the restaurant industry, Ryan met various wine professionals along the way, and their passion piqued his curiosity for fine wine. He found himself spending increasingly more time with his nose either in a wine book, or a wine glass.
He achieved Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers while spending time as a Sommelier at Brennan's of Houston. Ryan continued his career and passion for fine wine working in distribution.
After a successful stint in local distribution for Henderson Selections, he then joined the Houston Classified Wine and Spirits team.
When Ryan isn't working, he's with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Luke and Ben.
